Penny brews it in her office, and the smell just drifts across the
cubicles. I can't drink it though, I'm not part of the group that pays for
that coffee, and they don't seem keen to have more people involved. So my
only other in-office option is the powder coffee that the vending machine
dispenses. It doesn't even really taste like real coffee. It tastes like
water with coffee flavor. That's not to say that it tastes weak, because
you can make a selection for "stronger" coffee. The problem is, it just
puts more coffee flavor in the water, it doesn't actually make stronger
coffee.

Getting up from my desk and walking to the break room, and then
unexpectedly being engulfed and distracted by the aroma is a nice break
from the reality on the ground.
